My name is Robin van den Berg, and I’ve been working at Frontliners for almost two years now as a Software Developer. Within that role, I focus on building and improving our front-end React application, turning complex processes into a clear and usable product.
After my studies, I worked for two years at a startup as one of only two front-end developers. At some point, I felt I had learned everything I could in that environment and was ready for the next step. I wanted to join a company with more front-end specialists I could learn from, and one that worked with modern technologies and tackled more complex challenges. With those goals in mind, Frontliners stood out immediately.

What I enjoy most about my work is the level of challenge. Our domain is incredibly complex, and things are almost never exactly what they seem at first glance. You often need to look at a problem from different angles before arriving at the right solution. That kind of creative problem-solving is something I find fascinating and very rewarding.
What motivates me every day is the collaboration across the team and the wider organization. People here bring in so much knowledge and expertise from different backgrounds. Seeing all those perspectives come together is genuinely energizing.
I’m especially proud of how much my team has grown over the past two years. We’ve become more mature, more skilled, and more confident in how we work. It makes tackling new features smoother, faster, and more enjoyable.
